Thankful | Eileen Spinelli | BookLook Review

Thankful by Eileen Spinelli, Illustrated by Archie Preston. Thankful is a children's book written for children in the preschool to early elementary age. The book talks about people of different professions and what they are thankful for; for example the artist is thankful for color and light while the traveler is thankful for a cozy hotel, there is a total of 21 different people and what they are thankful for. The book is hardcover with glossy pages, it is thin so storing it on your child's bookshelf is easy, the illustrations are beautiful and dainty; I really like that nothing screams at me from the pages with loud colors or huge/thin type. The story flows really well and the wording is perfect for little ones. Overall I really like this book and will be reading it over and over to my little guy. Its a beautiful book, would be a great gift for a smaller child or for a baby's nursery. The author and illustrator did an amazing job!
